The Kingston to Ottawa 200 (K2O) Paddling Race is proudly part of the annual Ontario Ultra Paddling Points Series (OUPPS) where paddlers with a passion for long-distance racing earn collective points across 6 annual race events (see below for the 2018 schedule of eligible events).
The points series promotes participation in ultra-distance paddling events, not just winning is credited. The more you participate, the more you are acknowledged for your efforts.
At the end of the final event of the season (all events included in the OUPPS), the participant with the most points will be considered the overall winner of the OUPPS. At the last race of the season, a trophy paddle – and bragging rights – will be awarded to the winning paddler, recognizing their achievements in ultra-distance marathon paddling within Ontario.
